Contact + Communication Prior to Your Appointment
As the sole operator of my business I ask that you please be mindful of communication. I have tried my best to insure that you have everything you need to feel confident and comfortable before and after your tattoo appointment—however sometimes things come up and communication is necessary.
If you have a question or need to get ahold of me at any point please do not hesitate to reach out, but please also use the following rule of thumb:
𐬺 Email: Non-urgent requests, questions, and matters
𐬺 Text: You are in the 72 hour timeframe of your appointment + have an urgent question, request, or matter
𐬺 DMs: Compliments or sweet comments are always welcome but I will not respond to business inquiry DMs and will ignore them entirely—not to be rude but to protect my peace and sanity, thank you for understanding!

What to expect + bring the day of your your tattoo appointment
APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL
𐬺 Please plan to come to your tattoo appointment alone—unless you have received the green light from Meg to be accompanied by a guest prior to your appointment (please do not spring last minute requests on me—my nervous system can’t handle it hehe). There is a reason for this and respecting Meg’s studio policy in STEP ONE is very appreciated!
𐬺 Please do not arrive early to your appointment! Meg often runs on a tight schedule and in most cases cannot accommodate early clients.
𐬺 If the studio door is closed please text Meg that you have arrived and wait in the hallway for her to open the door. Please never knock or try to open the studio door.
𐬺 If you are running late to your appointment, please text Meg ASAP. Do not arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment and please see the cancelation policy outlined in STEP ONE to review the late policy.
𐬺 You must bring a valid State ID or Passport!
𐬺 Make sure you bring a full water bottle—hydration is so important when getting a tattoo!
𐬺 Bring snacks, headphones, kindle, gum, and other personal distraction items are always recommended to have on hand just in case.
LIST OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS
MINDFUL TATTOO ATTIRE
Please be mindful of the clothes you wear to your tattoo appointment!
This means:
𐬺 Wearing loose fitting clothing that allows us to easily access the area of skin we are working on.
𐬺 Wearing darker colored clothing—black ink is not friends with light clothing and is extremely hard to get out!
𐬺 Bring layers in case your bodies temperature response while getting tattoo changes and you need to shed or add clothing regulate temperature.
𐬺 You can pay for your appointment by cash or Venmo only, please revisit payment policy in STEP ONE for more details on payments.
𐬺 Payment will be calculated after your appointment and must be paid in full prior to leaving your appointment.
𐬺 Although they are always appreciated but never expected, tipping is a very common practice in the tattoo industry and tipping percentages usually fall within the 25-30% range of the full service (factoring in the absence of the security deposit). As a small business owner and artist who works in the service industry, tips are always greatly appreciated and never go unnoticed. So, I ask on behalf of myself, and other service industry providers, please always factor in a tip when budgeting for your service <3.
𐬺 Tips can be sent in the same Venmo transaction as your service payment—no need to separate the two.
PAYMET METODS
Meet Pluto, Meg’s Service Animal!
Pluto is a very sweet and cuddly 4 year old long hair dachshund who is fully trained and licensed as Meg’s Service Animal. He accompanies her to the studio everyday and considers the space his second home.
As a Service Animal there are times in which Pluto is working and needs no external distractions (pets, eye contact, communication, etc.). In these unique cases, Meg will have Pluto in his red service vest and requests that clients and their accompanied guests respect his job as a Service Animal and Meg as his handler.
However! Most days Pluto is NOT needed to fully assist Meg and clients and their accompanied guest are more than welcome to enjoy Pluto’s company! Pluto loves belly rubs and snuggles (really any form of attention haha) and treats! Lot’s and lot’s of treats! If you have a sever dog or peanut/nut allergy please let Meg know ASAP!
Pluto can’t wait to meet you if you are new here, and can’t wait to see you again if this is not your first rodeo!
Post Tattoo Aftercare + Touch-Up Requests
TATTOO AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
𐬺 First and foremost, listen to your skin and body and what it needs
𐬺 Take saniderm bandage off in 3-4 days. if opted out of saniderm, take plastic wrap off after a few hours and follow same steps below.
𐬺 Take saniderm off by pealing the top away from the skin and then stretching the bandage up, parallel to your body (similar to a command strip), so it softly peels off; avoid ripping saniderm off
𐬺 Once bandage is removed, gently wash the entire area with unscented soap (Dr. Bronners or Dial), rinse with water and air dry or pat dry with a clean paper towel
𐬺 Apply a thin layer of an unscented moisturizer (I always suggest using Lubriderm) 2-3x/day for 2-3 weeks
𐬺 AVOID Aquiphor/Neosporin/Vaseline as these ointments suffocate your skin
𐬺 No excessive sweating (workouts, saunas, etc.) while saniderm is on; ask for alternative wrap if you wish to participate in sweat inducing activities
𐬺 No soaking for 3 weeks
𐬺 No direct sun for 2 weeks; sunscreen can and should be applied after 2 weeks for life!
𐬺 For optimal healing + aging, moisturize with natural oils + butters (cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil, jojobo oil, or tattoo a balm/salve) for 6-12 months
𐬺 For optimal aging, always put sunscreen on your tattoos (seriously)
𐬺 Consult a physician at the first sign of an adverse reaction (swelling, infection, illness, allergic reaction or disease); tattoos are considered permanent, and can only be removed with a surgical or laser procedure which may result in scarring
𐬺 Outside of the normal limits of healing, any concerns that your body art has resulted in complications, infection or disease should be reported to: Denver Department of Environmental Health, Public Health Inspection - Body Art, 200 W 14th Avenue
