𐬺 You must be 18+ to get a tattoo by Meg

𐬺 A $100 Venmo deposit is required to secure any tattoo appointment (touch-ups and consultations do not require a deposit)

𐬺 Appointments are first come, first served

𐬺 Complete your booking carefully - typos in your phone number or email mean Meg can't reach you

FLASH BOOKING - Open 24/7

𐬺 Self-serve - book directly when Meg has availability on her calendar

𐬺 Last-minute openings are always posted on Instagram

𐬺 Only flash currently posted on the Available Flash Collection is bookable (new pieces added often)

CUSTOM BOOKING - Booked Clients Only

The status of Meg’s custom books is always posted on the Denver Custom Booking page

𐬺 Only book a custom tattoo if you are a Booked Client (you've received an acceptance email directly from Meg)

𐬺 You have 72 hours to complete all booking steps after receiving your acceptance email

𐬺 Select the appointment type based on the size Meg provided in your booking email

𐬺 Consultations are free 30-minute phone meetings, reserved for custom projects, and offered on Mondays

MATCHING TATTOOS

𐬺 Meg does not coordinate matching tattoo appointments. For matching sessions, book back-to-back appointments (a 1hr cushion is built in) and email Meg to let her know. See Studio + Appointment Policy for more guest guidance.

STUDIO LOCATION

𐬺 Queen City Ink is in Denver, near Alameda and S. Broadway. The exact address is shared via your Acuity confirmation email after booking.

ARRIVAL + GUESTS

𐬺 Please do not be late to your tattoo appointment.

𐬺 Please do not bring guests to your appointment unless you have received the green light from Meg in advance.

STUDIO CONDUCT

𐬺 Queen City Ink is a safe and professional space. Meg (or any artist working at the studio) reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client or their guest engages in misconduct, inappropriate behavior, or any action that compromises the safety, integrity, or professionalism of the studio. Legal action may be pursued if necessary.

ACCESSIBILITY

𐬺 The studio is not ADA accessible and requires climbing two flights of stairs to reach.

𐬺 For ADA accommodations, please coordinate with Meg via email prior to booking.

SERVICE ANIMAL

𐬺 Meg is always accompanied by her fully trained Service Animal, Pluto (a long-haired dachshund).

𐬺 For a canine-free accommodation due to severe dog allergies, please email Meg prior to booking.

DEPOSIT

𐬺 A $100 Venmo deposit (@QueenCityInk) is required to secure any tattoo appointment. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable (see Cancelation + Rescheduling Policy).

𐬺 Only book if you are fully committed to getting this tattoo with Meg and in a financial position to afford it.

CUSTOM TATTOO PRICING

Meg's pricing for custom tattoos is $200/hour (unless otherwise stated), with these estimated ranges per appointment type:

𐬺 Small (0-2 hours): $200 (shop minimum) - $400

𐬺 Medium (2-3 hours): $400 - $600

𐬺 Large (3-4 hours): $600 - $800

𐬺 Half Day (4-5 hours): $800 - $1,000

𐬺 Full Day (5+ hours): $1,000+

PATCHWORK FLASH DISCOUNT

𐬺 Book a half day or full day of flash and receive 15% off your service.

FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY

Although prices are fair and comparable to Meg's skill and location, she believes quality tattoos should be accessible. Clients going through financial insecurity are welcome to request a sliding scale or select trades by initiating the conversation via email at meg.queencityink@gmail.com before booking. As a small woman-owned, sole-operated business, Meg asks that you only request assistance if you truly believe you would benefit.

PAYMENT METHODS

𐬺 Cash or Venmo only (no other payment options at this time)

𐬺 A $10 fee applies to all Venmo payments, excluding deposits

GRATUITY

𐬺 Tattooing is manual, hand-crafted, luxury service work. Industry standard gratuity is 20-25%.

𐬺 Tips are always appreciated but never expected. If you can tip, it helps keep tattoos accessible for everyone.

GIFT ECONOMY + TRADES

Tips can be measured in many ways. If Venmo isn't in the cards, Meg is always jazzed to receive:

𐬺 A haiku

𐬺 Your favorite book

𐬺 An iced vanilla or lavender latte (regular milk, babe) - only before 1pm

𐬺 Intentional flowers, always

𐬺 A homemade loaf of bread

𐬺 Sharing and posting content

𐬺 A treat for Pluto

Always open to discussing trades for other tattoos, massage, cosmetic services (facials, Botox, filler, nails, brows, eyelashes, tattoo freckles), dental work, or vet care. Please email to start the conversation.

𐬺 At this time, Meg does not offer hand or finger tattoos.

𐬺 Custom tattoo designs are not available for client viewing prior to the appointment.

𐬺 Flash designs are repeatable and cannot be altered unless otherwise stated. Size, placement, and orientation are changeable.

𐬺 To change the scope of work from your initial tattoo request, communicate via email with Meg well in advance of your appointment. Changes are not guaranteed and may result in budget changes. Failure to give proper notice will result in a cancelation and possible charges (see Cancelation + Rescheduling Policy).

𐬺 Meg reserves the right to all her designs. No replication or recreation by another artist is permitted.

APPOINTMENT CHANGES

If you need to cancel, change, or reschedule your appointment, please follow the instructions below based on the amount of notice given.

More than 72 hours before your appointment - Use the reschedule or cancel link in your Acuity confirmation email.

72 hours or less before your appointment - Acuity will no longer allow changes. Please email meg.queencityink@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Instagram DMs are not monitored for tattoo appointments or bookings.

CANCELLATION + RESCHEDULING

𐬺 Deposits are non-refundable.

𐬺 More than 72 hours notice - Deposits may be transferred to a future appointment.

𐬺 48-72 hours notice - Deposits are forfeited. A new booking form and deposit will be required to rebook.

𐬺 Less than 48 hours notice - Full payment for the tattoo is required.

𐬺 No-shows - Full payment is required, and future bookings may be denied at Meg's discretion.

𐬺 Late arrivals - If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be treated as a last-minute cancelation and full payment will be required.

𐬺 Special Flash Events - All bookings are final. No cancellations, reschedules, or refunds. Failure to attend will result in the full listed price being charged.

DEPOSIT TRANSFER

𐬺 Deposits may be transferred one time with at least 72 hours notice.

𐬺 If an appointment is rescheduled more than once, the original deposit is forfeited and a new booking form and deposit will be required to secure another appointment.

These policies apply to all appointment types, including consultations, tattoo appointments, and touch-ups. Meg reserves the right to enforce or waive this policy at her discretion.

After 4+ weeks of healing, you may notice your fine line tattoo(s) could benefit from a touch-up. This is completely normal for this style of tattooing - Meg is always here to ensure you love your tattoo for many years to come.

HOW TO REQUEST

𐬺 Submit a touch-up request using the Touch-Up Request Form. All requests are assessed case-by-case.

𐬺 It may take Meg a few weeks to follow up - she will reach out via email.

TIMING + COST

𐬺 Touch-ups are free if requested 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment AND Meg agrees your tattoo could benefit from one.

𐬺 Touch-ups requested after 6 weeks are billed at a discounted rate of $100/hour, with a 1-hour minimum.

POLICIES

𐬺 Touch-ups follow the same Cancelation + Rescheduling policies as all other appointments.
