Important Booking Info + Policies
Please review all booking infomation + policies prior to scheduling your upcoming tattoo with Meg!

𐬺 You must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo by Meg.
𐬺 Only book if you have received an acceptance email directly from Meg in the past 72 hours.
𐬺 You have 72 hours to complete all booking steps after receiving your acceptance email (your spot will be offered to someone on my waitlist and you will need to submit a new tattoo form if you do not make the cutoff).
𐬺 When booking your tattoo appointment in STEP THREE, choose the correct appointment type based on the size provided in your acceptance email.
𐬺 Security deposits are required to book any appointment with Meg and will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo appointment.
𐬺 Security deposit amounts are based on your appointment size: $50 for Small-Large appointments; $100 for Half Day and Full Day appointments (see Pricing + Payment Policy for more security deposit information).
𐬺 If you’d like to book with a friend (for matching tattoos or group sessions), each person must submit their own individual request, be accepted, and book their appointment separately. I’m unable to coordinate or manually schedule group bookings, so please plan ahead and coordinate with one another to find back-to-back availability that works for your group.
𐬺 Consultations are highly recommended free 30 minute phone calls with Meg and are reserved for custom projects only.
𐬺 Consultations are only offered on Mondays only and must be booked at least 5 days prior to your scheduled appointment.

𐬺 Please do not bring guests with you to your appointment unless you have received the green light from Meg prior to your appointment!
𐬺 The Queen City Ink studio is a safe and professional space and Meg (or any Artist working at the Queen City Ink studio) reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if a client or their accompanying guest engages in misconduct, inappropriate behavior, or any action that compromises the safety, integrity, or professionalism of the studio (in such cases, legal action may be pursued as necessary).
𐬺 The Queen City Ink studio (the location of your tattoo appointment) is not ADA accessible and requires climbing two flights of stairs to access.
If you need to request an ADA accessible studio accommodation for your appointment, you must coordinate with Meg prior to booking via email: meg.queencityink@gmail.com
𐬺 Meg is always permitted to be accompanied by her fully trained Service Animal (Canine named “Pluto”)—Please see STEP FOUR for more information on what to expect for your appointment with Meg + Pluto.
If you have a severe allergy to dogs and need to request a canine-free studio accommodation for your appointment, you must coordinate with Meg prior to booking via email: meg.queencityink@gmail.com
𐬺 In the case you choose to park in the building’s available parking provided in STEP FOUR, Queen City Ink and all of its affiliates are not liable for any personal injury or damage to personal property while on the premise.

𐬺 Deposits are non-refundable but often transferable and always applied to the final cost of your tattoo appointment (see cancelation policy).
𐬺 You are fully committed to getting a tattoo from Meg and agree to being in a financial position to be able to afford a tattoo at this time.
𐬺 Meg’s pricing for tattoos is currently charged at $175 per hour (unless otherwise stated), with the following estimated price ranges for each appointment type:
Small (0-2 hours): $175 (shop minimum) - $350
Medium (2-3 hours): $350 - $525
Large (3-4 hours): $525 - $700
Half Day (4-5 hours): $700 - $875
Full Day (5+ hours): $875+
(Although my prices are fair and comparable to my skill and location, I believe quality tattoos should always be accessible and I open my studio doors to clients who are going through periods of financial insecurity and welcome them to request a sliding scale or payment plan by initiating the conversation with me via email prior to booking at: meg.queencityink@gmail.com. As a very (very) small woman owned + sole operated business please only request financial assistance if you truly believe you would benefit from this.)
𐬺 Exact pricing is not available prior to any tattoo appointments (unless otherwise stated). Pricing estimates are provided below and are subject to change based on adjustments to the final design, size, or placement of the tattoo.𐬺 Payments can only be made with cash or Venmo (there are no other payment options available at this time).
𐬺 A $10 fee will be applied to all Venmo payments, excluding deposits.

𐬺 Custom tattoo designs are not available for client viewing prior to tattoo appointments.
𐬺 Flash designs are repeatable and cannot be altered unless otherwise stated; design size, placement, and orientation are changeable.
𐬺 If you would like to make changes to the scope of work of your initial tattoo request (provided by you in your booking form), note these changes are not guaranteed and proper communication (via email) with Meg well in advance to your appointment is required. Failure to give proper notice will result in a cancelation and possible cancelation charge (see cancelation policy below).
𐬺 Meg reserves the right to all designs and in no case is it allowed to replicate or have another artist replicate her designs

You must cancel or reschedule your appointment through Acuity. You can do so in the confirmation email you received when booking your appointment!
If you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment within 72 hours of your appointment, email as soon as possible to let Meg know at meg.queencityink@gmail.com
𐬺 Deposits are non-refundable.
𐬺 72+ hours' notice: Deposit is transferable to a future appointment.
𐬺 48-72 hours' notice: Deposit is non-transferable and a new booking form and deposit will be required to rebook.
𐬺 24 hours or less notice: Full payment for the tattoo is required.
𐬺 No-shows: Full payment is required. Future booking privileges may be denied.
𐬺 Special Flash Events: All bookings are final. Cancellations are not permitted, and failure to attend results in a legal obligation to pay the full listed price.
𐬺 Late Policy: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a last-minute cancellation, and full payment will be required.
Please note this policy applies to all appointment types (consultations, tattoo appointments, and touch-ups)

Touch-up appointments for tattoos you have gotten from Meg are always welcome.
𐬺 Touch-ups are by request only and assessed on a case-by-case basis.
𐬺 Touch-ups are free if Meg agrees your tattoo could benefit from a touch-up and request is made 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment.
𐬺 If requested after 6 weeks, your touch-up will be billed at a discounted hourly rate of $80/hour with a 1 hour minimum.𐬺 Touch-ups adhere to the same cancelation + rescheduling policies as all other appointments
𐬺 Touch-up requests must be submitted using the Touch-Up Request Form.
