𐬺 You must be 18+ to get a tattoo by Meg.

𐬺 A $100 Venmo deposit is required to secure all new tattoo appointments (touch-ups and consultations do not require a deposit). Please see Pricing + Payment Policy for more info.

𐬺 All appointments are first come, first served.

𐬺 Please complete your booking carefully! Typos in your phone number or email means you will not receive very important information regarding your appointment.

FLASH BOOKING POLICY

𐬺 Book using the Acuity Scheduler when Meg has availability on her calendar.

𐬺 Last-minute openings are always posted on Instagram.

𐬺 Only designs currently posted on the Flash Collection are bookable.

𐬺 Select the appointment size that matches the size of your flash (combine sizes if booking multiple).

CUSTOM BOOKING POLICY

𐬺 The status of Meg’s custom books is always posted on Custom Booking.

𐬺 Only book an appointment for a custom tattoo if you've received acceptance by Meg directly.

𐬺 Select the appointment size based on the size provided in your booking email.

𐬺 Consultations are free 30-minute phone meetings, reserved for custom projects only, and are offered on Mondays.

MATCHING TATTOOS POLICY

𐬺 Meg does not coordinate matching tattoo appointments. For matching tattoos with a friend or loved one, please book back-to-back appointments (a 1hr cushion is built in) and email Meg to let her know.

STUDIO LOCATION + PARKING

𐬺 Queen City Ink is a private studio located in Denver, near Alameda and S. Broadway.

𐬺 The studio address and building access is provided in the Acuity confirmation email after booking.

ARRIVAL + GUESTS

𐬺 Please do not be late or early to your tattoo appointment.

𐬺 Please do not open or knock on the studio door if the door is closed

𐬺 Please do not bring guests to your appointment unless you have received the green light from Meg in advance.

STUDIO CONDUCT

𐬺 Queen City Ink is a safe and professional space. Meg reserves the rights to refuse or discontinue service if a client or their guest engages in misconduct, inappropriate behavior, or any action that compromises the safety, integrity, or professionalism of the studio. Legal action may be pursued if necessary.

ACCESSIBILITY

𐬺 The studio is not ADA accessible and requires climbing two flights of stairs to reach.

𐬺 For ADA accommodations, please coordinate with Meg via email prior to booking.

SERVICE ANIMAL

𐬺 Meg is always accompanied by her Service Animal, Pluto (a long-haired dachshund)

Please only book if you are fully committed to getting tattooed by Meg and are in a financial position to plan and pay for your tattoo.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

𐬺 A $100 Venmo deposit (@QueenCityInk) is required for any new tattoo appointments.

𐬺 Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable, please see the Cancelation + Rescheduling Policy for deposit transfer policy.

PAYMENT METHODS

𐬺 Meg accepts cash or Venmo payments only - no other payment methods are accepted.

𐬺 A $10 fee will be applied to all Venmo payments, excluding deposits.

CUSTOM TATTOO PRICING

Meg's pricing for custom tattoos is $200/hour (unless otherwise stated), with these estimated ranges per appointment type:

𐬺 Small (0-2 hours): $200 (shop minimum) - $400

𐬺 Medium (2-3 hours): $400 - $600

𐬺 Large (3-4 hours): $600 - $800

𐬺 Half Day (4-5 hours): $800 - $1,000

𐬺 Full Day (5+ hours): $1,000+

Flash pricing is based on the final size and placement of final design. Please see the Flash Collection for sizing and pricing.

PATCHWORK FLASH DISCOUNT

𐬺 Book a half day or full day of flash and receive 15% off your service.

GRATUITY

𐬺 Tips are always appreciated but never expected. If you are able to tip, it helps keep tattoos accessible for everyone.

𐬺 Tattooing is a manual, hand-crafted, luxury service. The industry standard for tipping and gratuity is 20-25%.

FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY

Although prices are fair and comparable to Meg's skill and location, she believes quality tattoos should always be accessible.

Clients going through financial insecurity are welcome to request a sliding scale or select trades by initiating the conversation via email to meg.queencityink@gmail.com before booking.

As a small woman-owned, sole-operated business, Meg asks that you only request assistance if you truly believe you would benefit from it.

GIFT ECONOMY + TRADES

Tips can be measured in many ways. If Venmo isn't in the cards, Meg is always jazzed to receive:

𐬺 An iced vanilla or lavender latte (regular milk, babe) - only before 1pm

𐬺 Intentional flowers, always

𐬺 A homemade loaf of bread

Always open to discussing trades for other tattoos, massage, cosmetic services (facials, Botox, filler, nails, brows, eyelashes, tattoo freckles), dental work, or vet care. Please email to start the conversation.

𐬺 At this time, Meg does not offer hand or finger tattoos.

𐬺 Custom tattoo designs are not available for client viewing prior to the tattoo appointment.

𐬺 Flash designs are repeatable and cannot be altered unless otherwise stated. Size, placement, and orientation are all changeable.

𐬺 To change the scope of work from your initial tattoo request, you must communicated via email with Meg well in advance of your appointment. Changes are not guaranteed and may result in budget changes. Failure to give proper notice will result in a cancelation and possible charges. Please see Cancelation + Rescheduling Policy for more info.

𐬺 Meg reserves the right to all her designs. No replication or recreation by other artists is permitted.

APPOINTMENT CHANGES

𐬺 If you need to cancel, change, or reschedule your appointment, please follow the instructions below based on the amount of notice given.

𐬺 More than 72 hours before your appointment - Please reschedule or cancel your appointment using the link at the bottom of your Acuity confirmation email.

𐬺 72 hours or less before your appointment - Acuity will no longer allow changes. Please email or text Meg as soon as possible!

𐬺 Instagram DMs are never monitored for tattoo appointments or bookings.

CANCELLATION + RESCHEDULING

𐬺 Deposits are non-refundable.

𐬺 More than 72 hours notice - Deposits may be transferred to a future appointment.

𐬺 48-72 hours notice - Deposits are forfeited. A new booking form and deposit will be required to rebook.

𐬺 Less than 48 hours notice - Full payment for the tattoo is required.

𐬺 No-shows - Full payment is required, and future bookings may be denied at Meg's discretion.

𐬺 Late arrivals - If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be treated as a last-minute cancelation and full payment will be required.

𐬺 Special Flash Events - All bookings are final. No cancellations, reschedules, or refunds. Failure to attend will result in the full listed price being charged.

DEPOSIT TRANSFER

𐬺 A deposit may be transferred one time with at least 72 hours notice.

𐬺 If an appointment is rescheduled more than once, the original deposit is forfeited and a new booking form and deposit will be required to secure a new appointment.

𐬺 These policies apply to all appointment types, including consultations, tattoo appointments, and touch-ups. Meg reserves the right to enforce or waive this policy at her discretion.

After 4+ weeks of healing, you may notice your fine line tattoo(s) could benefit from a touch-up. This is completely normal for this style of tattooing - Meg is always here to ensure you love your tattoo for many years to come.

HOW TO REQUEST

𐬺 Submit a touch-up request using the Touch-Up Request Form. All requests are assessed case-by-case and require approval to book.

𐬺 It may take Meg a few weeks to follow up - she will reach out via email regarding your request.

TIMING + COST

𐬺 Touch-ups are free if requested 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment and Meg agrees your tattoo could benefit from one.

𐬺 Touch-ups requested after 6 weeks are billed at a discounted rate of $100/hour, with a 1-hour minimum.

POLICIES

𐬺 Touch-ups follow the same Cancelation + Rescheduling policies as all other appointments.
